Yay for Heroes! HuggleCause welcomes a new Project K-9 Hero pup to salute, K-9 Flash!

From a puppy wandering the streets alone, to scoring 100 on her law enforcement tests, K-9 Flash is a hero’s hero. After serving nearly a decade with the Yakima Police Department, Flash deployed more than 3,000 times and made 2,200 narcotic-related finds and seizures.

She retired in 2013, and spent the rest of her life with her handler, Jason Johnson- the founder of Project K-9 Hero, celebrating her as the inspiration for the organization’s founding. Her heroic efforts earned her 2018 Dog of the Year, and not one but two children’s books detailing her inspiring story.A portion of proceeds from the sale of this toy will go to support their work providing medical care, food, and death benefit assistance for our nation s retired Police and Military Working Dogs.
