Our Mission:
Help as many pets find forever homes by supporting non-kill shelters with our time, talent, and treasure. We do this by hosting this site, fostering, and volunteering at shelters. At least 35% of all profits will directly help shelters/rescues!

We partner with the best vendors to bring you high quality pet products at prices that compete with the big outlets, but here, you know while you are taking care of your babies, you’re helping others! We know you personally cannot adopt them all, but every little bit helps.
As proud parents to 4 rescue pups of our own we know the feeling of not being able to bring them all home, so this is the next best thing. Please help us help them!

Our Team
This is Dawn Harris, CEO and visionary of Dex’s Doghouse. It has been Dawn’s dream, for as long as she can remember, to work with animals. The universe works in it’s time and here she is, fulfilling her destiny.
She volunteer’s time at a local rescue, evaluates all new rescue partners, and runs this site. With her in the picture is our faithful companion and the inspiration for this mission, Dex! He is a 5 year old Staffordshire Terrier rescue that we initially were only fostering, but Dawn and our daughter Sarah fell in love with him. He is a big snugglebug!
Dex is one of four of our rescues, and they will all make cameo appearances on the site from time to time.
We also foster, and we have 2 pups at the time of this writing.
Tim Harris is the back-office person managing the site and operations. Tim has had dogs all of his life and is big softie when it comes to dogs.
